'Moon Gate'
Inspired by my artwork Growth, this moongate was designed as a circular garden threshold made from layered, cut steel forms. The design draws on plant-like structures, seed pods, imaginary birds and branching stems, creating a gate that sits somewhere between botanical growth and decorative ironwork. The circular form frames the landscape beyond while the internal structure forms a dense, rhythmic pattern that changes as you move around it. The piece was fabricated in weathered steel, giving it a rich, textured surface that suits the organic forms and garden setting.

"Groth'
The gate was fabricated by metalworker Barry McCann, translating the drawn forms into forged and cut steel elements.
